Pumpkin Patch 2008

Today we took our annual trip to Papa's Pumpkin Patch near Bismarck, North Dakota. It is in a really beautiful hilly area with lots of fall trees - something you would picture in New England and not necessarily North Dakota. We had fun as always although it was REALLY windy and the boys were somewhat cranky.

The Running Boy

Ethan is officially a cross country runner. The local girls high school cross country team puts on a program every fall here for children in grades K - 6 to participate in cross country running. The distance the kids run depends on which grade they are in. Ethan did a great job in his weekly 1000 M race. He completed four of them with no problems and did really well in each race. Believe it or not - he was actually tired after each of the races...which I didn't think was possible!
